Just like standard shade sails, waterproof shade sails are made from durable fabric, however, due to added features, they are both effective in blocking the sun and completely diffusing water when it rains. However, keep in mind that when using waterproof shade sails, you will need to take water run-off into account. Also, waterproof shade sails don’t offer quite the high UV protections as some standard shade sail materials.
